Radiation Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering therapeutic radiation treatments to patients as outlined by their physician's treatment plan. The position requires experience with True Beams technology and a strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy in accordance with established treatment plans.
• Operate radiation equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Implement safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
