Outpatient Physical Therapist - 5x8 Schedule

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in a community-focused environment. This role involves developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. The Physical Therapist is responsible for delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring patients achieve their goals and return to community activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop targeted treatment plans.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provide education to patients, families, students, and coworkers regarding therapy disciplines.
• Participate in student supervision, providing a positive learning environment.
• Engage in continuous professional development through education and self-study.
• Adhere to professional standards and ethical practices in accordance with discipline-specific codes of conduct.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance service delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience required.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a 5x8 schedule, offering guaranteed hours for committed professionals.
