Schedule

4x10-hour shifts, Days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), with holiday rotation and one weekend working shift every 4 weeks. On-call required with up to 4 weeknight shifts per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This position requires skills in both circulating and scrubbing procedures across various surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Assisting with surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse.
• Maintaining a sterile environment and managing surgical instruments.
• Responding to emergencies and providing lifesaving interventions as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting is strongly preferred.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with surgical scrubbing is highly preferred.
