Job Description

We are urgently seeking an experienced CT/XR Technologist to join our team. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for providing care that is appropriate to the age of the patients served in their assigned unit, demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation.
• Exercise professional judgement in performing procedures, applying principles of radiation protection.
• Maintain patient records and files accurately.
• Assume responsibility for the departmental quality assurance program.
• Pursue continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Transfer patients to and from radiology as required.
• Rotate shifts as required and take on ancillary duties as assigned.
• Maintain hygiene standards in the department and for self.
• Work well under stressful situations and be ready to take on call, reporting within 20 minutes as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a CT/XR training program.
• Current ARRT in Radiography.
• Certifications: ARRT (CT, XR)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology.
