Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, particularly in advanced fetal monitoring, and a passion for supporting expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring women, including assessment and monitoring of maternal and fetal health.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform and document assessments, interventions, and patient education related to childbirth and postpartum care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed.
• Assist with the delivery process as required, ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Valid nursing license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Current certifications in Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), NRP, BLS, and ACLS from approved vendors.
• Documentation of driver’s license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
