Job Description

As an Operating Room RN, you will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care across all phases of the surgical experience including pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia recovery. This role requires versatility and the ability to serve as a circulator, scrub nurse, and PACU nurse, with opportunities for cross-training to expand your clinical skill set.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care across all surgical phases.
• Function in multiple roles including circulator, scrub nurse, and PACU RN.
• Ensure patient safety and clinical excellence through adherence to AORN standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team for high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Current Vermont or multi-state RN license required.
• Minimum of two years of perioperative experience required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
