Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) position is located within the psych/rehab department of a healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and protocols. The RN will function as a float, supporting various departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and conditions.
• Develop and implement care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Provide patient and family education on health management.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• Experience in psychiatric or rehabilitation nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Commitment to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
