Supervisor/Charge Nurse - Med Surg and ER

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Supervisor/Charge Nurse will serve as a working supervisor in the Med Surg and ER departments. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage nursing staff while providing high-quality patient care in both settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff in the Med Surg and ER departments.
• Provide direct patient care as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Conduct staff training and development.
• Facilitate communication between departments and support personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• OB/Newborn Stabilization training (if applicable)
