CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

This position requires working a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will engage in direct patient care while supporting the multidisciplinary team and responding to the needs of critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to CVICU patients.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months CVICU nursing experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no hits on the state license to practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from recognized providers (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
• Demonstrated travel experience is highly preferred.
