Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

NOC Shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3 x 12 hr shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. The role requires an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Knowledge of radiation protection and safety is essential. Preparation and administration of contrast media is performed in accordance with hospital policy. The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking and ethical judgment in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging per established protocol.
• Administer contrast media following hospital policy.
• Demonstrate understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology.
• Maintain knowledge in radiation protection and safety.
• Utilize critical thinking and ethical judgment in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Completion of an AMA approved radiology program Required.
• General Experience Required; Relevant Experience Preferred.
• Basic Life Support Certification Required.
• Registered Technologist (R) (CT) Required or Registered Technologist (R) Required.
