Schedule

Available shifts include 5x8s (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) or 4x10s (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM) depending on clinic needs.

Job Description

This role involves providing radiation therapy to patients in clinic settings. The traveler will start directly in the clinic without the need for dimensions or orientation prior to beginning patient care. The radiation therapist will work alongside other therapists and medical professionals to deliver high-quality treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult acute care radiation therapy using Varian linacs and Siemens CT simulators.
• Participate in patient treatment planning and execution.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff, including MDs and RNs, throughout daily operations.
• Support patients by utilizing modern imaging techniques and adhering to safety protocols.
• Float between facilities based on scheduling and patient volume needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
• ARRT certification and BLS certification required.
• Experience with systems such as ARIA, Pinnacle, and Eclipse is preferred.
• Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and patient care in a clinical setting.
