Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

AM shift with variable start times from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM, Monday to Friday, working 5 shifts of 8 hours each.

Job Description

The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist provides technical assistance to the performing physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, structural heart procedures, and other related procedures. The role includes direct patient care during the procedure and management of hemostasis post-procedure, ensuring the qualified provision of care for patients in the specific age range assigned to their laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and structural heart procedures.
• Manage direct care and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures.
• Monitor and manage hemostasis in patients following procedures.
• Provide care tailored to the specific age range of patients in the assigned laboratory.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
