Registered Nurse - NICU Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with NICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills and critical thinking necessary for the specialized care of neonates and infants in the NICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical assessments to neonates and infants in the NICU.
• Manage and monitor patients on ventilators and other complex medical devices.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using Cerner or similar charting systems.
• Prepare for and assist with special procedures and interventions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; CRT or RRT preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting is preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus.
