Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with weekends as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. The role includes caring for various patient populations, including those recovering from cardiac surgery and patients requiring peritoneal dialysis or respiratory interventions. Nurses may float to different medical-surgical floors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients on multiple medical-surgical floors.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and discharge planning.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Registered Nurse license must be active and valid.
• Ability to float to various medical-surgical units as needed.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with exemptions considered.
