Registered Nurse (RN) - Contingent Staff

Schedule

This position requires 4 ten-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours, with every other weekend availability. Note that during the orientation week, hours may differ.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings as needed. As a contingent staff member, floating between areas of need is a requirement. Candidates should be prepared to adapt to dynamic healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment interventions.
• Assist in the coordination of care with various departments as needed.
• Float to different units and areas within the facility as required to meet patient and departmental needs.
• Adhere to all infection control practices and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current knowledge of nursing practices and hospital protocols.
• COVID-19 and FLU vaccinations are required, although medical and religious declinations will be accepted.
