Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. The role involves monitoring and managing patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient vitals, ECG rhythms, and other vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient care planning and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and wellness strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.
