This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12.0, Evening/Night shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge per unit needs with 36 or 48 hours required.

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse will provide competent care through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research based on established standards. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, this role includes responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.

Responsibilities

• Assume accountability for the provision of competent nursing care.
• Engage in clinical practice and service excellence.
• Participate in professional development and research.
• Take on expanded roles including charge nurse and preceptor.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
• NYS RN License required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required.
• Telemetry experience required.
