Job Description

Join a 225-bed specialty care hospital that offers a comprehensive range of services, including a Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, and more. As a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care within a stress-filled environment, utilizing your critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Utilize telemetry monitors and other medical equipment for patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient needs and implement treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures, including IV therapy.
• Maintain documentation and patient records in the Cerner EHR system.
• Participate in unit activities and contribute to the overall healthcare team dynamic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in high-stress situations.
