Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Full-time nights with a schedule of 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning and providing total patient care through the nursing process. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. The RN will direct and guide patient teaching and coordinate activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Guide and educate patients and their families on health management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• BCLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Experience preferred but not required.
