Registered Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Evenings - 32 hours per week, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will deliver respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider orders. The role requires a focus on patient care and management of respiratory therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider orders.
• Monitoring and assessing patient respiratory status and therapy outcomes.
• Providing patient and family education regarding respiratory therapy and equipment usage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), not a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Valid Ohio RCP license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association only.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
• Requires some exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in face-to-face and remote interactions.
