CT Technologist - Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and proficiency with the Epic charting system. This position requires the ability to perform a variety of imaging procedures using GE scanners, and experience in patient care with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, and head scans, with and without contrast.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to safety protocols.
• Administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a CT Technologist role, preferably in an acute care setting.
• ARRT certification in CT and current BLS certification.
• Oregon State Licensure (OBMI) is required prior to start.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Must have a vehicle for this assignment and be willing to float to different facilities as needed.
