Job Description

The MRI Technologist produces diagnostic MRI scans, assists radiologists and referring physicians in MRI procedures, and ensures optimal patient care while upholding the values of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI scans.
• Assist radiologists and referring physicians during MRI procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to MRI imaging.
• Utilize advanced technical skills and physics knowledge to operate MRI scanners.
• Perform additional responsibilities related to imaging as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
• ARRT certification, with preference given to those with MRI certification.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Ability to float to different departments as needed based on competency levels.
