Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) shifts available. Must be flexible and able to float between departments.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a WA License in hand and Level III or IV NICU experience. This role involves providing exceptional respiratory care for newborns in a Level 3 NICU and requires the ability to adapt to various units within the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee respiratory care for patients in the NICU.
• Administer respiratory therapy as per prescribed protocols.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patient respiratory status.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and emergencies.
• Utilize advanced therapies and equipment for neonatal patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Washington State Respiratory Therapist License (RRT).
• Minimum of 2 years of Charge Experience in a relevant setting.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS, CRT or RRT.
• Experience in Level 3 NICU and Level 2 Adult ICU is required.
• Knowledge and skills in advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
