MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (09:00 - 21:30). Weekend and on-call work required.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients for diagnostic purposes. This role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure the quality of images obtained and to guarantee patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI examinations using Siemens 1.5T equipment.
• Administer contrast as required, following safety protocols.
• Perform patient assessments and prepare them for imaging procedures.
• Document all patient information and imaging results in Cerner EMR.
• Assist with procedures such as biopsies and IV starts.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification with advanced MR certification.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, or children's hospital setting.
• Experience with Siemens MRI systems required.
• Experience using Cerner EMR.
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19; exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons.
• Valid FL license or compact license at time of submission.
