Job Description

The Travel RN for Behavioral Health will provide care in a 120-bed geriatric psychiatric unit. The role demands flexibility, compassionate customer service, and the ability to manage varied patient acuity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health admissions and discharges.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a team of nursing staff and Mental Health Technicians (MHTs).
• Participate in lead RN resources classes provided.
• Float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of current behavioral health experience.
• Strong behavioral health inpatient experience preferred.
