CT Technologist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technologist will possess a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately capture and produce diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and ensure high-quality images are produced.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of technical protocols and equipment operation.
• Provide quality patient care by ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to discuss imaging results.
• Maintain required certifications and licenses in accordance with state and federal laws.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Active New York license required at time of submission.
