Surgical Services RN - Travel Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Days, 4x10s (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM) with call required 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services Registered Nurse with expertise in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting and possess at least 1.5 years of relevant travel experience. Preferred experience with Davinci Robots and endovascular procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the surgical unit.
• Assist in surgical procedures and support the surgical team.
• Monitor patients pre, intra, and post-operation.
• Utilize Epic for accurate patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in call rotations as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 1.5 years of experience required with specific expertise in:

• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Urology

Required: Experience with Epic charting system. Travel experience preferred. Certification in BLS is mandatory.
