X-Ray Tech - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM. Will require 3 on-call shifts per month.

Job Description

The X-Ray Tech is responsible for performing imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of patients. This role requires technical skills and the ability to operate radiologic equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform various imaging procedures, including abdomen, chest, and extremities.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Follow radiologic protocols and maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer contrast media as needed and observe for adverse reactions.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Adhere to infection control techniques and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Tech.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification is required.
• State license in Oregon is necessary.
• Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.
