Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a medical/surgical setting, maintaining critical thinking and decisive judgment.
• Monitor patient conditions with telemetry monitors and other medical equipment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide effective patient treatment and care plans.
• Document patient data within the Cerner EHR system accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and hygiene standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Must hold a valid RN license.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical unit.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions.
