Registered Nurse - GI Lab

Schedule

Shift: 10 hours, Day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the GI Lab will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in GI nursing and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients before, during, and after GI procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with gastrointestinal procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in GI nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
