Surgical Process Technician

This position requires a mid-shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Job Description

The Surgical Process Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the surgical team by ensuring that all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and maintained for surgical procedures. This position requires a blend of customer service skills and technical expertise in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical instruments and equipment for use during procedures.
• Ensure that all supplies are available and properly sterilized.
• Assist the surgical team with the setup and breakdown of the operating room.
• Maintain accurate records of instruments and supplies used in the operating room.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other hospital staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid Ohio license is required at the time of submission.
