Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, managing complex cases, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment, triage, and ongoing care in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed.
• Monitor patient conditions and react swiftly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment protocols and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience, with a strong caseload of at least 95 patients per day.
• Experience in a 4:1 patient ratio environment.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC required.
• Experience with electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.
