Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule: 3x12 hour Nights (17:00 - 05:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the care of expectant mothers and newborns, working in a high-risk antepartum setting as well as assisting with deliveries. This position involves triaging obstetrical patients and utilizing specialized equipment and techniques in labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high-risk deliveries and circulate during C-sections.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and recover patients post-surgery.
• Utilize IUPC placement and calibration effectively.
• Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC) and manage anticoagulation therapy.
• Administer antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility.
