Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will provide essential respiratory therapy services, including care for COVID patients, in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients, including treatment plans and assessments.
• Assist with intubation and extubation procedures, as well as tracheostomy care/management.
• Manage and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation and other respiratory therapy modalities.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in the charting system (EPIC experience preferred).
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Certifications: BLS, RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) required.
• Experience working in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Departments.
• Previous charge experience and familiarity with various respiratory equipment (BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC).
• COVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions allowed.
• Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions allowed.
