ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with every other weekend off.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. This position may require floating to Telemetry, MedSurg, Emergency Department, and TCU as needed. Successful candidates will be comfortable managing a diverse array of patient diagnoses including respiratory failure, sepsis, and cardiac issues. The ability to work well in a team and adapt to different units is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and provide patient care according to established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech 6.1.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in shift handovers and patient care meetings as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Prior travel experience is required.
• Must hold valid ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS certification.
• The position requires active RN licensure.
• Ability to float to MedSurg as needed.
