Job Description

The Physical Therapist provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services aimed at restoring function and preventing disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing, and accrediting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic interventions as per best practices
• Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on treatment processes and wellness strategies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Current California Physical Therapy license
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current
• Previous Acute Care Hospital Experience preferred
