Job Description

The Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures in a fast-paced, free-standing emergency department setting. The technician will work independently to operate equipment and provide high-quality imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, including GE 64 Slice CT and digital X-ray machines.
• Document patient information and imaging results in the Meditech system.
• Participate in call shifts as required, with an expectation of 2 call shifts per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• SCQRSA Certification (South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License).
• CT certification preferred, with CT experience and knowledge required.
• BLS certification is required.
