Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Operating Room (OR) team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in surgical nursing and be equipped to handle the unique challenges within this high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures including but not limited to liver, kidney, pancreas transplants, general surgery, robotics, and bariatric surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech documentation system.
• Float to different units as needed, adhering to the facility's floating policy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Valid and active RN license in Texas (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
