Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00); every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to adult patients in a 29-bed unit focused on medical surgical and oncology. Responsibilities include palliative care and family education concerning oncological processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to medical, surgical, and oncology patients.
• Assist in palliative care and educate families on treatment processes.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines, ports, and PCA pumps.
• Care for telemetry and urology patients as needed.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to acute changes in condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Current WV or Compact RN License (pending licenses accepted).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Chemo Administration certification preferred (ONS/ONCC).
• Experience with telemetry and central line management is essential.
