Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation (Nights)

Job Description

Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation, providing care during night shifts. This position is well-suited for nurses with experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood and blood products as necessary.
• Manage anticoagulation therapy and diabetes education for patients.
• Conduct assessments for fall risk, pressure ulcers, and neuromuscular diseases.
• Provide care and management for ventilated patients and those with tracheostomies.
• Evaluate and implement care plans based on patient diagnoses.
• Utilize assistive devices to facilitate patient mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and perform blood glucose monitoring.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum one year of nursing experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system and community hospitals.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working a 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.
