Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation

Schedule

This is a Night 4x12-Hour shift position, from 19:00 to 07:30, with an option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Requires every other weekend availability.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Acute Rehabilitation department. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation setting, focusing on their recovery and rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and progress.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; previous charge experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• LTAC or trauma experience preferred.
