Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position offers a day shift schedule of four 9-hour shifts from 06:30 AM to 04:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating days off. Expect to be on call for 12 days within a 6-week period, including every third weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an interventional radiology setting. The ideal candidate will have previous neuro experience and a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and efficient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess conditions pre- and post-procedure.
• Administer medications as per orders and protocol.
• Support patients and their families with education regarding procedures and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• Neuro experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced certifications as applicable for interventional radiology.
