Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care

Job Description

Under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the Respiratory Therapist provides patient care activities in critical care areas, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care. The therapist will also train RT personnel in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in critical care settings.
• Assist in the training and orientation of Respiratory Therapy personnel.
• Ensure compliance with patient care protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate patient treatment plans.

Schedule

This position is for 12-hour night shifts, with flexibility required for rotation and on-call duties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) is required.
• Oklahoma state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is required.
