Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients across various age ranges, from neonates to adults, while working in a fast-paced environment. This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver respiratory care services and support in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care and therapy to patients with varying conditions.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 & 840, LTV1200 ventilators.
• Support neonatal and pediatric populations in critical care settings.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in consultation with healthcare teams.
• Document patient care activities using the EPIC documentation system.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory management.
• Adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• NRP certification required; exposure to neonatal/pediatric care preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must possess a valid NY state respiratory therapy license.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
