Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CT/Rad Tech traveler for a weekend night shift assignment in our imaging department. The CT/Rad Tech performs diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and imaging accuracy. This role requires the ability to work independently during night shifts in a rural hospital environment with a broad range of patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality.
• Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
• Utilize Cerner EHR/PACS systems for order review, documentation, and image workflow.
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and other departments to support patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT/Radiology experience required.
• Critical Access Hospital or rural hospital experience preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Current Colorado state radiology licensure required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Cerner EHR experience is required.
• Must be able to work independently on night shift.
