Job Description

The selected candidate will be a vital member of the Women’s Services department in a facility that emphasizes quality healthcare for the Northeast Nevada community. As a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery, you will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment throughout their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Conduct labor and delivery procedures following safety and quality standards.
• Manage postpartum care for mothers and their newborns, providing education and support.
• Perform OB triage and nonstress tests.
• Monitor and manage antepartum and intrapartum complications.
• Handle management of conditions such as pre-eclampsia/eclampsia and hemorrhages.
• Provide care in the level 1 nursery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in women’s services, specifically in Labor & Delivery and postpartum.
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications required.
• Proficiency in Fetal Heart Monitoring—Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
