Schedule

Day shifts, Monday to Friday, with staggered start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM.

Job Description

The Pediatric Echo Tech will be responsible for performing pediatric echocardiograms with proficiency, including those for complex congenital heart defects. Familiarity with GE Vivid 95 and PACS systems is preferred for entering full reports. The role involves working at both the main facility and a North Charleston clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms accurately and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to discuss complex heart disease and defects.
• Document findings and enter reports into the PACS system.
• Maintain proficiency in scanning and knowledge of cardiac anomalies.
• Provide quality care and support to pediatric patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pediatric Echo Tech.
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of complex congenital heart defects is essential.
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
