Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required: 6 weekend shifts per six weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) who is a first-timer ready to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients experiencing medical emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients presenting to the Emergency Room with various conditions, including strokes, chest pain, and trauma.
• Perform triage for incoming patients and manage patient flow efficiently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions, conduct assessments, and administer treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care or emergency setting.
• Current RN license with compact licensure in hand at submission.
• Required certifications: TNCC, NIH, ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
