Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides direct care and influences care for acutely and critically ill patients at high risk for life-threatening health problems. The ICU offers advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that emphasizes intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to acutely ill patients.
• Conduct thorough assessments and continuous monitoring of patient conditions.
• Implement and document nursing interventions and patient care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required.
• AHA ACLS and TNCC required for GSR ICU-CCU; PALS preferred.
• Previous ICU experience is preferred.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required due to CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
