Physical Therapist - Day Shift

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 15:00)

Job Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) will provide therapy services to patients requiring rehabilitation, focusing on improving patient mobility, strength, and overall physical function. The PT will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote healing and rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document care provided and patient progress in the electronic health record system (Epic).
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Oregon state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Familiarity with the Epic charting system is preferred.
